that will probably be the first spot i'll check.  hope it's decent size, not blown out, and not breakin' sideways there.  haven't surfed a point break wave in a while.

I'll have the kids with me but I'll be at the point for DP spectating.  I expect to see some crazy two-finned steamrolling up and down the point! :)

Hmmm.... good plan. I will be at C-St at sunrise and that's where I will begin my search. Should be fun. Realistically, I'm only picturing nipple to a little over head high waves for us this weekend... at the better spots at the better times...

What are you talking about man?  Wetsand says it will be DOH+++++++ 22 second period massive 35 foot faces at standout breaks and 20 foot faces at Mondos!  Pfff... nipple high on the Kraken maybe.  We're all gonna drown!

The swell is a bit steep even for c st... it will be fun there for sure, probably 5-7+ at the peak of the swell, but certain spots south of there will be SIGNIFICANTLY bigger.

From Wetsand today:

The current ETA for this swell is pretty much on track from my last report, with just a few minor tweaks in timing. Some minor swell should start to trickle in on Friday, but still weak overall, and more noticeable for areas north ofOC. On Saturday the 7th, the swell should fill in more, but moving from north to south; the SB/VC area should be the first to start seeing some sets out of this, perhaps mid morning or so, and then areas farther south seeing swell some hours thereafter, perhaps not hitting SD until mid afternoon. Sunday the 8th should then be the full-impact day in SoCal, with size slowly backing down Monday, more so though Tuesday the 10th into Wednesday the 11th (Veterans Day).
