My High School Class is going to have its 30th reunion. I was a recluse in High School so I doubt I'll attend. But think about that..almost 50 now. And I feel like it could easily, easily, keep going another 50 years if I don't get whacked. I can's see 50 more years of this shit, but people are living longer than ever before. I don't even have any grays. I was ID'd at a gas station a couple of months ago.
Recently, I was doing volunteer work at the Mount Wislon Observatory. The guy who was training me is the son of Seth Nichols who is one of the early solar astronomers from the turn of the century on the 150 foot solar tower. This guy appeared to be in his late 60's or eary 70's. He was 96 years old and literally grew up on the mountain.
What if the world around you grew old, the buildings and the streets decayed, the forrests turned to deserts, the mountains were eroded away and the stars grew dim, but you stayed the same?

Yeah, I didn't make my 20th... everybody was making a big deal out of it but I didn't get it. I can understand the 25th year celebration... but 20 years.. I was like "eh".
I mean, suppose you were Danny Bonaduce?
